Situationships

The hardest part it is

You hated that I was right

But I told you

This wouldn't last

You neglected the truth

Held my hand into a blind bliss

I was bothered and yet so desperate

I closed my eyes

Pretended I was sleep with you

We just sat there in our mirage

Going no where

He flirted with love

With no intentions

But I was never sleep

So I guess I'll have to say

The hardest part is

You got to get away

Whenever I wanted to let go

You held me tight

In a lustful clasp painted in love

Built up in careful words

Your initial approach couldn't stand to see me content and free

But now you're awake

And the pain never got to hit you

like it hit me

Because I trusted you

With the expense of my freedom
